Light Ends
Risk Management of Light Ends
Light Ends is the term used for the products that condense at the top of the distillation process, i.e. with lowest temperatures.
It includes (liquified) petroleum gasses (LPG) such as butane and propane, gasoline and naphtha (used as solvents and other applications). Price volatility in these products can be immense, partly because demand is seasonally varying.
